WELCOME TO THE BIBLE CONTENT EXAM!
The PC(USA)'s Bible Content Examination is now administered ONLINE ONLY.
The online Bible Content Examination is a proctored examination administered at prearranged seminary and presbytery testing sites. A list of these testing sites is available from the Office of Preparation for Ministry/Exams by clicking here. You will need a computer with internet access in order to take this examination. Test proctors at each site will be able to assist you with the specific equipment availability and requirements for their location. Inquirers and candidates should confirm these requirements with the proctor at the site before registering.
You will have up to two hours to complete the examination. The examination is available in English, Korean and Spanish. During registration you will select which language you prefer for the examination. While the testing software presents initial instructions, system-wide messages, and navigational prompts only in English, the questions themselves will be displayed in Spanish or Korean for those who registered to take the test in those respective languages.
Registrations cannot be made through this online system for those who require any special arrangements related to learning disabilities or physical handicaps and those unable to travel to one of the regular testing sites. Special arrangement registrations must be made directly with the Office of Preparation for Ministry/Examinations. Contact Tim Cargal (tim.cargal@pcusa.org), (888) 728-7228, x 5771.
Please Note: If total registrations within a time zone exceed certain limits, it may be necessary to adjust the starting time at particular testing sites. Such adjustments will be coordinated with proctors at the close of the registration period and communicated to registrants as soon as the information is available.
